Boston En vogue’s Modern Luxury show is a unique informal VIP presentation. Taking place in a retail setting, we are showcasing luxury designers of color who are setting the standard for luxury in Boston, NYC & Europe. Attendees get an up-close & personal look at luxury women's, men's, & cosmetics collections launching exclusively during our Modern Luxury event. Attendees also have the opportunity to connect, network with designers considered trailblazers, & will soon the next big thing in the industry.

Join the author of Supreme Models: Iconic Black Women Who Revolutionized Fashion Marcellas Reynolds and the Boston Athenaeum’s Polly Thayer Starr Fellow in American Art, Theo Tyson, in conversation and celebration.

Reynolds’ groundbreaking publication Supreme Models, is the first-ever art book celebrating the lives and legacies of Black models working in the industry for the last 75 years. Filled with stunning photographs and revealing essays, the book details how Black models have been influencing fashion and reshaping the standards and boundaries of beauty.

Hosted by Petra Slinkard, the Nancy B. Putnam Curator of Fashion and Textiles and Director of Curatorial Affairs at Peabody Essex Museum, we invite you to join Reynolds as he shares in his journey of writing and speaks to the impact these iconic women have had on the fashion industry, both then and now.
